Lab Technician. 

THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED FOR 2010 VINTAGE

Employee Status: Temporary
Reports to: Quality Systems Manager
Role/Job: To perform lab analysis on juice / wine samples. Analysis data entry
Purpose: Check juice analysis is at customer specification
Responsibilities/Typical Activities:

  • Brix, pH, titratable acidity
  • Pectin Testing
  • NTU and % solid measurements
  • Free & Total Sulphur determination
  • Acidity adjustment
  • Pre Fermentation Analyses
  • Fermentation monitoring
  • % Alcohol by Ebuilliometer
  • Residual Sugars by Rebelein
  • Malolactic monitoring
  • Sensory evaluation

Comments: Must have the ability to interpret analysis results and liaise with Cellar Manager.
Friendly and professional and must have a sense of humour.
