Lab Technician.

THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED FOR 2010 VINTAGE

Employee Status: Temporary
Reports to: Quality Systems Manager
Role/Job: To perform lab analysis on juice / wine samples. Analysis data entry
Purpose: Check juice analysis is at customer specification
Responsibilities/Typical Activities:

Brix, pH, titratable acidity
Pectin Testing
NTU and % solid measurements
Free & Total Sulphur determination
Acidity adjustment
Pre Fermentation Analyses

Fermentation monitoring
% Alcohol by Ebuilliometer
Residual Sugars by Rebelein
Malolactic monitoring
Sensory evaluation

Comments: Must have the ability to interpret analysis results and liaise with Cellar Manager.
Friendly and professional and must have a sense of humour.
